2

We convert locally

Check the quality

Keep the default, or nudge the quality slider to balance sharpness against file size.

4

Save them one at a time, or grab everything at once in a single zip. That's it.

Frequently asked

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Every HEIC is read and converted by your own browser. Nothing is sent to a server — in fact, the tool keeps working even with your Wi-Fi switched off.

Does converting reduce the quality?

JPG is a lossy format, so there is a tiny change, but at the default 92% quality the result is visually identical to the original. Lower the slider if you need a smaller file.

Is there a limit on size or number of files?

You can convert up to 50 photos at once. The real limit is your device's available memory, not an arbitrary cap we've set.

What's the difference between HEIC and HEIF?

HEIF is the underlying container format; HEIC is the common variant Apple devices use. This tool accepts both.

Do you keep any of my files?

Never. There is no account and no storage. Close the tab and every file you worked on is gone for good.
